ACTIVITIES
SKIING & WINTER SPORTS
A ski lift is just up the street or you can take a short hop on the
free bus to the Village Center for the main lifts. From there you find
some of the best skiing in the west.
You can of course ski right back to the condo. Or why not try dog sledding, cross-country
skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, or renting a snowmobile?
HIKING & SUMMER ACTIVITIES
The Valley Trail heads north from the Village and soon enters
Grand Teton National Park
where you'll soon be heading up the magnificent Granite Canyon or a million
other possibilities. Or you might choose to take the Bridger Gondola from
the Village for the spectacular views of the valley and a leisurely hike
around or back down the mountain. Rafting on the Snake River, cycling
in the National Parks and horseback riding are all within easy reach.
WILDLIFE WATCHING
Wildlife is abundant. In the quiet spring or fall months you might even
see moose from the balcony, or even more likely some coyotes. If you don't
see wildlife directly from the condo, you will do so just a few minutes
drive up the Moose Road, in the
Elk Refuge
or on the Antelope Flats just north of the town of Jackson. Of course,
the Grand Teton
(1 mile) and Yellowstone
(about 40 miles) National Parks offer an abundance of such opportunities
including their famous buffalo herds.

TETON VILLAGE
The condo is located within walking distance (5 minutes) of the center of
the Teton Village.
The village itself offers a variety of dining opportunities including the
famous Mangy Moose restaurant and saloon
serving great Western barbecue specialties. There are also restaurants
offering Austrian,
Italian, and Japanese cuisine and Grille and Sports type dining. Sport shops
offer you advice on any sports outfit you might need for your adventures. Mountain-biking, and
Horse-back riding
can be arranged right in the village.
On the beautiful 15 minute ride to Jackson, you can listen
to the Bar-J Wranglers (on summer evenings), famous for their humor, country music
and Chuck wagon dinners.

JACKSON HOLE
If the Village hasn't quenched your appetite for adventure you are only
12 miles away from the famous Jackson town square and all the restaurants
and shopping around it. Jackson has wonderful Western art galleries, a
theatre troop, and cinemas. In the summer, arts and craft fairs,
rodeos
and the famous
Grand Teton Musical Festival
right in Teton Village attract many visitors. Fishing,
white-water rafting,
dog-sledding and tours
into the National Parks can be arranged from the Village or Jackson.
